Who we are:

This is the paper of the barristers of John Marshall highschool. It serves 2000 students and we will try to represent them and inform them. It is our goal to serve them. We have a staff of 23 of the best and brightest students.

Our mission: 

We are here to keep you updated and informed on all things Marshall, LAUSD, and Los Angeles in its entirety.

What we do: 

The Marshall Blue Tide is a paper for and from the students, which means that you can place your trust in us to provide you with up to date, trustworthy and noteworthy news that resonates with you and your community. Want election day stats? We’ve got it. Want the latest Marshall sports victories and losses? We have you covered. 

What Guides Us Journalists: 

• Our ethical principles are to uphold the First Amendment, truth and integrity. 
• Our policies include no use of A.I. or plagiarism. 
• We believe in student rights and their freedoms.
• We will not be biased for any interest groups or factions. 
• Our stories are our own and we are responsible for writing them originally. 
• We will make sure all research is truthful and credible.
• We will not publish anything if it brings harm to an individual or group.
