The 2024 Haunted Car Wash is a fun experience if you’re wanting to do something thrilling and fast with your family or friends. If you aren’t as much of a horror person or cannot handle jumpscares, people dressed up as scary people, and do have a sensitive sense of fear I’d suggest you don’t go but if you feel like you can do it or just wanna have a fun experience you should go for it. You want to buy snacks before going because the line of the drive thru is pretty long. If you’d be interested in doing it during Halloween times of the month the tickets are at the cost of $30 per vehicle.
The haunted car wash takes place from October 3–November 2 on select dates. For this carwash activity there will be a wait time. It takes about 10-15 minutes to be able to see the people out scaring others. You’ll see monsters all around the areas of the line mostly when you’re near the main area. For the best experience as told when the staff are checking to scan your ticket there will be a sign saying , “For best experience have your doors unlocked and windows down along with putting your radio on 100.7 FM.”
You don’t need to have your windows down or doors unlocked for the experience but it’s the best way. People dressed up as these scary clowns, creatures, and people with masks will go into your car (but not fully due to safety) and will jumpscare you. It’s a good, fun, thrilling experience for the audience.
There are decorations while going throughout the drive thru as in cars that have clowns in them, spiderwebs all over the place andf fog machines all around to make the environment look spooky. If you are sensitive to the fog because of its chemicals or how it smells I’d suggest that you keep your windows up. I’d be aware of the scarers on the pathway because some may seem like mannequins because of their impressive standing still skills.
For about a few minutes they will jumpscare you by running up towards your window or door. While you’re driving through the pathway of your arrival to the main area you’ll see lots of these colorful lights flashing around. Once you’re at the main area you will be having to wait 2 minutes to drive inside the car wash room. Once you’re inside you will have to drive slowly due to the car ahead of you along with your safety but also because of the actors nearby inside. There are flashing lights that turn red and green. The actors nearby with costumes on will try opening your door and will also knock on your window trying to scare you. They will chase your car as well or move around the surrounding area. At the end there will be another actor standing still and staring at you just to startle you.
The experience will be fun after all of the horror things going on around your car.
